Midwest Edge is home to over 80 company members. With 8 performing groups, Midwest Edge competes and performs around the Chicagoland area. MWE auditions dancers beginning at age 7, up through 18-years old. Our dancers compete in all styles including, jazz, tap, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop and musical theater. We have 2 Hip Hop Companies at the intermediate and advanced level.
Our company members are required to train in jazz, tap and ballet. Our dancers are well-rounded and encouraged to train in all styles at our studio. MWE Company members participate in approximately 3 conventions per year and 2-3 competitions.
